Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of government contracts, navigating FAR/DFARS compliance and complex government agreements. You will coordinate with Legal, Deal Strategy, and finance teams to manage pricing, invoicing, and contract close-outs.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10+ years of government contracts experience, deep regulatory knowledge, and the ability to mitigate risk in a fast-moving tech environment including SaaS offerings and DoD/IC engagements.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of combined experience managing government contracts within the public sector or a commercial tech/software entity.
• Deep operational knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and commercial item acquisition rules.
• Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and professional services contracting.
• Strong background in government financial workflows, pricing structures, invoicing, and WAWF.
• Knowledge of DoD/IC compliance, governance, and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of government contracts, ensuring strict compliance with FAR, agency-specific supplements, and internal policies.
• Manage contract execution, order conversions, pricing verifications, and contract close-outs.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable to oversee contract invoicing, payments, and systems (e.g., WAWF).
• Partner with Legal and Deal Strategy to maintain product/pricing catalogs and resolve contract performance issues.
• Advise internal stakeholders on procurement risks and apply mitigation strategies.
• Identify bottlenecks in existing agreements and propose scalable solutions.
• Act as SME and deliver high-value training on public sector procurement processes.
• Drive process improvements in legal workflows, contracting tools, and governance.
