Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States seeks a Systems Engineer to lead public safety design and implementation for ASTRO 25 and adjacent technologies serving State and Local agencies. This remote role requires 25–50% travel to project sites and customer locations.

You will work with Sales, Project Management, and System Engineering teams on multi-site deployments, system buildout, testing, cutovers, and acceptance, delivering reliable, secure, and compliant communications systems for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• 7+ years of engineering or technical experience OR 10 years.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical aspects of the assigned project until system acceptance.
• Design and implement radio networks including infrastructure and backhaul.
• Coordinate design reviews, testing events, and live system upgrades.
• Prepare system documentation and perform integration/testing across sites.
