Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Sr Systems Engineer in Pennsylvania, with remote work and travel 25-50% to support the T3 North region. Focus: design and implement ASTRO 25 and related systems for state and local agencies.

You will lead technical work, coordinate with project managers and field teams, and ensure successful system acceptance. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field with 3+ years of engineering experience (or 4-7 years) and permission to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline with 3+ years of engineering or technical experience OR 4-7 years of experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement radio networks including infrastructure, subscribers, backhaul, WAN and CEN.
• Lead technical aspects of projects until system acceptance with cross-functional teams.
• Perform radio coverage testing, frequency analysis and interference mitigation.
• Prepare system fleetmap, encryption schema, and radio programming templates.
• Document system configurations and live cutovers with attention to detail.
