Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Sr. Account Manager to drive sales and strategic account plans for target customers in Illinois. You will build senior-level relationships, coordinate cross-functional teams, and lead opportunities across radio, video, software and services to support safety missions.

Preferred candidates reside in Chicagoland and can travel up to 50%+. Base salary range is $95,000–$110,000 with on-target earnings between $156,000–$181,500 depending on performance and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience
• OR 8+ years of sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience
• Experience selling solutions into government organizations preferred
• Ability to learn software solutions and communicate value to customers

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with key decision makers in Illinois public safety and local government
• Create and execute comprehensive sales plans for target accounts and geography
• Coordinate internal resources to address customer needs and opportunities
• Influence technology platform decisions and build long-term relationships
• Identify and pursue large project opportunities across product lines
• Engage channel partners and escalate to executives to position opportunities
