Motorola Solutions is seeking an Area Sales Manager (Strategic Projects Team) in Illinois to lead large, multi-product opportunities for public safety and government customers. You will drive strategy, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and build trusted relationships with decision makers.

The role requires a track record in complex government sales, a self-starting mindset, and the ability to manage multiple active projects while meeting revenue targets. Travel 50%+ is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience or 8+ years of experience in the same fields.
• Proven negotiation skills on large project opportunities
• Self-starter with strong motivation and drive toward business goals
• Understand public safety domain, Motorola portfolio, and procurement processes

Aufgaben

• Lead overall strategy, direction, and execution of strategic projects in your territory.
• Coordinate with pre-sales, services, marketing, product management and order/credit teams to hit territory objectives.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers in public safety and government customers.
• Accurately forecast project orders and revenue on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Maintain CRM data and ensure timely visibility into opportunity pipelines.
• Navigate competitive bid and sole source procurement environments to win deals.
