CACI International Inc is seeking a Principal Proposal Subcontract Manager to lead pre-award subcontract efforts for complex proposals. You’ll coordinate with BD, Capture, pricing, and program teams to ensure requirements are met and packaging is competitive.

The role demands deep understanding of FAR-based contracting, risk assessment, NDA/TA negotiations, and managing multi-subcontract proposals under tight deadlines. Up to 10% travel locally may be required.

Formación

• Demonstrates understanding of fair and reasonable pricing and price negotiations.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of the full Proposal/Subcontract life cycle (Shipley Model).
• Understanding of contracting/subcontracting fundamentals (offer, acceptance, consideration, intent).
• Knowledge of different subcontract types and appropriate use cases.
• Strong negotiation skills in areas like pricing, risk, warranties, IP rights.
• Good business acumen and problem-solving for subcontract matters.
• Professional tone and clear communication in interactions.

Responsabilidades

• Provides Pre-award proposal support for subcontracts.
• Supports large proposal efforts with many subcontractors and tight turnaround times.
• Troubleshoots complex proposal efforts in time-sensitive environments.
• Builds relationships with BD and Capture to meet solicitation requirements for a winning effort.
• Adapts to changing environment and guides stakeholders through lifecycle.
• Negotiates NDAs and Teaming Agreements.
• Identifies risks and mitigates them through communication with managers and teams.
• Reports regularly on proposal/subcontractor issues.
• Prepares solicitation packages for subcontractors with sealed requirements.
• Advises on SOWs, source selection criteria, and source selections.
• Assists Program Managers and Cost Estimators with BOEs and proposals.
• Collaborates with Pricing Analysts on pricing strategy and issues.
• Reviews prime contract terms/solicitations for flow-downs to subcontractors.
• Ensures timely data calls and deadline adherence.
• Responds promptly to customer inquiries.
