Job summary

Caddell Construction is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to lead the preparation and submission of complex proposals. You will review owner RFPs, determine required technical content, and coordinate with the Proposal Development Group and Estimating Department to gather information for high-quality responses.

You will collaborate with joint venture partners, design team partners, and key subcontractors to define deliverables, set internal due dates, and ensure timely review by stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with five years of professional business writing experience.
• Four-year degree in a related field; two years of proposal writing preferred.
• Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reviews owner RFP documents, determines required technical information, and prepares the submittal.
• Collaborates with Proposal Development Group and Estimating to gather information for proposals.
• Works with joint venture partners, design teams, and key subcontractors to define deliverables.
• Establishes internal due dates to ensure timely review by stakeholders.
• Coordinates with Director of Proposal Development and Director of Estimating on project inclusion.
• Maintains proposal files and assigned opportunity records in databases.
• Supports CPARS, subcontracting statistics, safety statistics, and financial information tasks.
• Prepares for and leads proposal debriefs with clients; assists with training for new staff.
• Performs additional tasks per supervisor’s direction; some travel; full-time role.
