Job summary

AECOM is seeking a talented Proposal Specialist III to join the West Region business development and operations team. You will lead responses to RFI/RFQ/RFPs, coordinating with technical teams and pursuing pursuits that secure new business.

This remote-friendly role supports multiple US locations where AECOM has offices. The position emphasizes proposal strategy, writing, editing, and project management, with willingness to work extended hours during peak periods.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in marketing/proposal activities for strategic pursuits.
Strong proposal strategy development, compliance, and writing production.
Advanced proficiency in proposal writing, editing and project management.
Analytical skills for RFP/RFQ analysis and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead medium to large proposals from capture through interview with support.
Create annotated outlines and content plans for technical teams.
Serve as lead writer/editor for resumes, past performance, exec summaries, and management approaches.
Facilitate color reviews and quality reviews; implement revisions from review teams.
Provide go/no-go and greenlight input aligned with capture plans and positioning.
Assist with go-to-market strategies and content development for clients/markets.
