Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Proposal Specialist III to join our West Region team supporting pursuits from expression of interest to RFP response. This remote-friendly role collaborates with business development and operations to plan, prepare, and deliver compelling proposals.

You will lead writing and coordination across technical teams, coordinate reviews, and support strategy and content development for diverse client markets. Strong writing, editing, and project management are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 4+ years leading proposal activities with a marketing team.
Understanding of proposal and presentation strategy, compliance, and writing.
Advanced proficiency in proposal writing, editing, and project management.
Strong analytical skills for RFP/RFQ analysis and data-driven decisions.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with proposal management software and data visualization tools.
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Lead medium to large proposals from capture to interview with support as needed.
Create annotated outlines and content plans, advising technical teams on structure.
Lead authoring/editing for resumes, past performance, executive summaries, and methods.
Facilitate color reviews and quality reviews; implement revisions based on feedback.
Contribute to go/no-go and greenlight analyses and capture planning.
Support debriefs, client feedback collection, and continuous improvement.
Assist with pursuits strategy and content development for markets and CAMs.
Coach junior team members and perform self-checks before reviews.
