Job summary

AECOM is seeking a highly talented Proposal Specialist III to lead and support medium to large proposals from capture through interview, coordinating with West Region BD and operations. You will ensure bid compliance, develop outlines, and may act as lead writer for executive summaries and past performance sections.

This role offers flexible remote work from US locations with office access, requires strong proposal management, writing, editing, and Adobe InDesign proficiency, and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with track record in proposal activities.
• Strong writing, editing, and production skills with compliance focus.
• Experience with RFP/RFQ/RFP processes and deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals and priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large proposals, supporting from capture to interview.
• Develop content plans, outlines, and recommend structures for sections.
• Serve as lead writer/editor for resumes, executive summaries and past performance.
• Coordinate color reviews, quality reviews, and revisions.
• Support go/no-go and win strategy analyses and debriefs.
• Contribute to marketing/content related to clients/markets as needed.
• Coach entry level proposal team members and perform self-checks before submission.
