Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead large, complex federal pursuits from capture through interviews, coordinating with regional and BL teams on RFQ/RFP responses. You will mentor staff, drive compliant, high-quality deliverables, and integrate AI into proposal processes.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience and 3+ years of people management. The role offers flexible remote work from US locations and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; plus 8+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
• 3+ years of people-management experience with recruiting, mentoring, and retaining talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex, priority must-win pursuits from capture through to interview stage.
• Develop schedules, templates, content plans, outlines, and compliance matrices for proposals.
• Lead writing/editing of executive summaries, resumes, and non-technical sections for proposals.
• Facilitate reviews and ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables across the Federal portfolio.
• Provide strategic direction on proposals and participate in capture and go/no-go activities.
