Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Proposal Specialist III to lead water business line proposals. This hybrid role uses a mix of remote and in-office work across multiple CA offices and Denver, CO. The candidate will supervise pursuit teams, ensure quality, and drive compliant, compelling proposals from pre-RFP to interview stages.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in design proposals, with strong InDesign/Office skills and excellent writing. Sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of managing design proposals, in particular winning work for A/E pursuits.
• Strong proposal and presentation strategy development and compliance, and writing and production.
• Knowledge of marketing best practices, procedures, work processes, and tools.
• Excellent skills with InDesign, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work independently and with others to produce accurate, compliant work.
• Working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Teams and SharePoint.
• Excellent writing skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities to manage documents and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Leads a variety of proposals and presentations from pre-RFP positioning through interview stage.
• Interfaces with technical and BD staff to develop submittals and materials to win contracts.
• Provides leadership to pursuit teams for proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content planning, messaging and production.
• Ensures document design and adherence to RFP instructions and brand guidelines.
• Facilitates go/no-go and greenlight analyses, capture planning and positioning for proposals.
• Coordinates pink and red team reviews, applies lessons learned to proposals, edits resumes and past performance sections.
• Supports special projects as required.
