Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior Proposal Manager to lead large, complex federal pursuits from capture to interview, coordinating with regional and business-line teams. The role emphasizes writing, compliance, and strategic positioning to win must-win opportunities.

You will mentor junior staff, manage workload across portfolios, and drive improvements in go/no-go analyses, ensuring high-quality, on-time submissions for national government clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or related field; 8+ years of experience
• 3+ years of people-management experience, with recruiting, developing and retaining talent
• Proven ability to estimate effort and lead multi-discipline proposals
• Excellent writing and editing capabilities; strong grammar, tone and style

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex priority pursuits from capture through interview stage.
• Develop schedules, templates, content plans, compliance matrices, and drafts for proposals.
• Lead writing of executive summaries, resumes, and non-technical sections for proposals.
• Institute color reviews and governance checks; drive compliant, high-quality deliverables
