Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Proposal Management professional to join our global team in New York. You will support and lead proposals from capture to interview, coordinating qualifications, schedules, templates, and production while guiding entry-level staff and ensuring adherence to quality procedures.

Responsibilities include content coordination, lead writer/editing for resumes and past performance, and facilitating color reviews to drive continuous improvement in bidding processes.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in proposal management, tendering/bidding, business development, RFP/RFQ preparation, and techno-commercial proposal development.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to coordinate content and proposals

Responsibilities

• Assists with large proposals and can lead small to medium proposals across regions or business lines, from capture through interview stage.
• Coordinates content and information for qualifications and proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content plan and production; may act as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections.
• Facilitates color review (Pink/Red team) and implements lessons learned to proposals; manages revisions per review direction.
• Participates in go/no-go and greenlight analyses, capture planning and positioning for proposal prep.
• Completes internal debriefs for proposals led and reviews client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintains working knowledge of company quality procedures and approval processes (legal, contracts, DOA, signatory).
• Liaises with business line, operations, technical, and business development teams to develop marketing information (case studies, capabilities summaries).
• Provides guidance to entry-level proposal team members and performs a self-check of work before submission.
