Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Senior Estimator to lead estimating activities within the F-35 portfolio. You will manage proposal planning, scheduling, and cost development in line with FAR/DFARS and USG requirements.

You will coordinate recruitment, training, performance assessments, and salary actions; shape bid strategies, develop cost models, and participate in should-cost reviews with management and government auditors.

Qualifications

• Experience developing proposals per FAR/DFARS in a DoD environment.
• Experience negotiating Prime or Subcontract contracts.
• Experience with methods of cost estimating.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating activities within the F-35 portfolio and coordinate proposal planning and scheduling per policy.
• Develop bid/price strategies and cost methods for proposals; ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and Govt regulations.
• Coordinate recruitment, training, performance assessments, and salary actions across the estimating function.
• Participate in should-cost/pricing reviews with management and government reps; interact with DCAA/other audit agencies.
