Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Manager to lead maintenance operations for occupied single-family homes across the portfolio. You will supervise the service team, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely resident satisfaction and quality repairs.

The role requires strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety standards, plus experience managing multiple contractors and fleet. You will report to the Service Director and collaborate with Portfolio Operations to optimize

Qualifications

• 5+ years in service, operations, and maintenance in multi-family or single-family housing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with vendor management and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage Service jobs to provide outstanding customer service and timely resolutions.
• Review schedules, vendor pricing, resident chargebacks and invoices for completed work.
• Provide technical support to service technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repair of all service jobs.
• Ensure training compliance for self and all team members supervised, including technical training programs.
• Oversee Housing Choice Program inspections and compliance with HUD/HQS and local codes.
