Greystar in Arlington, VA is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned apartment community. You will lead the on-site team, manage budgets, ensure rent collection, enforce leases, and maintain property standards while complying with laws.

The role requires 4-6 years in property management, a bachelor’s degree preferred, strong communication, vendor management, and proficiency with Entrata, Yardi or OneSite. Greystar offers robust benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Provides input into budget development by analyzing financial statements and marketing data.
• Sets rent rates to meet targeted revenues and ensures timely rent collection.
• Approves invoices and manages vendor, contractor, and owner communications.
• Controls expenditures within approved budgets and manages petty cash.
• Oversees lease enforcement, vacancies, renewals, inspections, notices and charges.
• Analyzes market trends and implements marketing and leasing strategies.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests promptly.
• Ensures maintenance standards and safety across the property.
• Supervises staff: hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Maintains relationships with owners, tours properties, and provides performance updates.
