Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager for our Arlington, VA property. You will lead the day-to-day operations, manage a on-site team, and coordinate leasing, maintenance, and resident services to meet budgeted goals.

You’ll analyze market trends, optimize occupancy, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years minimum of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service background to manage daily operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to lead and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the property and manages the on-site team to meet budgeted financial goals.
• Sets rent rates, collects revenues, reviews monthly financial status reports, and approves vendor invoices.
• Manages leasing, inspections, notices, renewals, and enforcement of lease terms.
• Trends market data and adjusts marketing/leasing strategies to maintain occupancy and revenue.
• Ensures maintenance standards and safety across property and amenities.
• Supervises staff, conducts hiring/orientation/training, and evaluates performance.
