Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves diagnosing defects, completing repairs, and managing the make-ready process for new move-ins.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, and experience in property maintenance. A valid driver’s license and tool ownership are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade is preferred.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe use required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for policy understanding and resident interaction.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete routine maintenance tasks.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant apartments, prep for leasing, and coordinate vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Inspect work performed by staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and assist with budgeting for repairs and capex.
• Conduct safety meetings, ensure MSDS and OSHA compliance, and promote safe work practices.
