Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform daily upkeep across the community, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and operational functionality of buildings, grounds, and amenities.

You will diagnose resident service requests, complete make-ready tasks, manage vendor work, assist with budgeting for repairs, and uphold safety standards. HVAC knowledge and EPA certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or building maintenance.
• Own hand tools required unless prohibited by state law.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for coordination.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Math skills to handle financial, administrative, and legal docs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects, complete resident service requests following safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, obtain supplies.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds and buildings.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and safety.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and budget-conscious purchases.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance per policy, assist budgeting.
• Support safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance, MSDS upkeep.
• Provide courteous, responsive service to residents and team.
