Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to manage and perform technical and mechanical work across the community. You will maintain grounds, exteriors, and interiors, coordinate make-ready tasks for new move-ins, and ensure adherence to Greystar standards.

The role requires EPA certifications, tool proficiency, and a customer-focused approach. Flexible schedule and on-call rotations are included, with robust benefits and growth opportunities at Greystar.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and use them safely.
• Ability to analyze problems and apply logical thinking.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for management support.
• Proficiency in MS Office; property management system experience preferred.
• Solid math skills for financial and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and perform routine maintenance ensuring safety and quality.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, scheduling vendors and tasks.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by others and contractors; take corrective action as needed.
• Maintain inventory and assist Community Manager with budgeting.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assist budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when possible.
• Lead safety meetings and stay current with OSHA and safety laws.
• Deliver strong customer service to residents and address concerns promptly.
