The role requires extensive hands-on maintenance knowledge across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair, with strong leadership and customer-service orientation. A flexible schedule and on-site presence are expected.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of experience in apartment home repair including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance operations to keep the property in top condition.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Manage maintenance budget, expenses, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee inventory of equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Ensure the shop and storage areas are organized and clean.
• Supervise and mentor maintenance team and contractors.
• Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering professional growth.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant apartments.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and vendor contracts.
• Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance or safety issues.
