Swiss Re is seeking a Senior Property Facultative Underwriter to assess and underwrite a broad mix of property risks. You will use advanced modeling tools to tailor reinsurance solutions, collaborating with clients, brokers, and internal partners to optimize portfolio performance.

The role covers diverse industries within SME and Middle Market segments, with emphasis on data-driven exposure and pricing insights. Hybrid work is offered in multiple US locations, with travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelors Degree in Risk Management (or related field) desired.
• 6-10 years of single risk underwriting experience in primary or reinsurance markets.
• Working knowledge of insurance modeling and rating tools/underwriting systems.
• Experience with the U.S. property insurance market.
• Adept decision-making skills.

Aufgaben

• Assess and underwrite risks for a wide range of industries (offices, schools, public entities, manufacturing, warehousing, SME & Middle Market).
• Interact with clients to address insurance needs and improve the facultative portfolio.
• Manage portfolio risk with data-driven tools showing exposure and pricing metrics.
• Build relationships with internal/external partners; engage clients to meet needs.
• Develop regional marketing strategies and expand to national/international channels.
• Lead execution of business strategy across a diverse national customer and broker network.
• Drive efficiency by optimizing existing processes and implementing new tools.
