Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Senior Superintendent to plan, manage and execute complex construction projects in Austin. You will lead field teams, coordinate with owners, design teams and subcontractors, and maintain safety, quality and cost controls across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing work plans, managing schedules, tracking budgets, and ensuring timely, profitable project delivery while upholding JE Dunn’s standards and culture across operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred in CM/engineering.
• 10+ years construction experience; 8+ years field supervision.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules and safety culture.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors, staff, and project workflow.
• Oversees safety, QA/QC and cost reporting across projects.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Manages project site logistics and schedule with the Project Manager.
• Participates in project reviews, pre-construction and closeout activities.
