Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Austin, TX seeks a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute project activities, coordinate subcontractors, materials and equipment, and ensure documentation supports timely, profitable completion.

You will lead safety culture, oversee field staff, attend progress meetings, and work with project managers to develop and adjust schedules and budgets while maintaining quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; high school diploma required.
• 3+ years construction experience and 1+ years field supervision.
• Ability to lead safety culture and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, custody and control.
