Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 in Austin, TX to plan, manage and execute complex projects, ensuring timely and profitable completion. You will oversee material/equipment, people management, and documentation aligned with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

You will lead safety culture, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with owners, design teams and authorities. Strong communication and Lean/process improvement skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Lean principles preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentoring for a project.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develop work plans and schedules with Project Manager.
• Coordinate site logistics and material/equipment needs.
• Lead meetings and progress reviews with owners/architects.
• Support project closeouts and procurement processes.
• Identify and recruit top talent; promote diversity and inclusion.
