Job summary

Luster National, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Scheduler to lead complex CPM scheduling for large heavy-civil infrastructure programs, including highways, bridges, transit, and water/wastewater. You will review schedules, test recovery plans, and quantify delays in time and money.

The role emphasizes forensic analysis depth, What-if analyses, and coordination across design, procurement, and construction teams. A strong candidate has 10+ years of scheduling experience and advanced tools mastery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10+ years scheduling large, heavy-civil projects.
Experience with CPM baseline schedule development, resource or cost loading, progress updating, and variance analysis.
Ability to interpret scope, drawings, and constraints into logic-driven, sequenced, resource-aware schedules.
Experience evaluating time extension requests or Time Impact Analyses and documenting entitlement.
Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and related risk/scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain the integrated program master schedule across design, procurement, third-party, and construction contracts; align leadership on critical path.
Review baseline submittals and monthly updates for logic, durations, calendars, float, and loading; recommend acceptance or rejection.
Verify progress against field records and challenge unsupported data before payments or milestones.
Run critical path, longest path, and what-if analyses to test sequencing and recovery proposals.
Evaluate time extensions and Time Impact Analyses; issue determinations on entitlement and float ownership.
Perform forensic schedule analysis using as-planned vs as-built, windows, and collapsed as-built methods.
Conduct schedule-risk assessments; quantify exposure with Monte Carlo; track mitigations to closure.
Integrate third-party interfaces, permits, ROW, utilities, and long-lead procurement; keep critical path visible.
Generate narrative reports, look-aheads, S-curves, and KPI dashboards for leadership; flag risk early.
