Job summary

Luster National, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Scheduler to manage the master schedule for major heavy-civil programs including highways, bridges, transit, airports, and water/wastewater projects.

You will lead logic-driven scheduling, recovery analyses, and risk assessments to protect schedule integrity. Responsibilities include integrating multiple contracts, reviewing baselines and updates, and delivering narrative reports and KPI dashboards for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, construction, transportation, systems).
• 10+ years scheduling experience on large, complex heavy-civil projects.
• Experience with CPM baseline schedule development and variance analysis.
• Experience evaluating Time Extension and Time Impact Analyses.
• Ability to translate scope into logic-driven, sequenced schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and related risk tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the integrated program master schedule across design, procurement, and construction.
• Review baselines, updates, and verify logic, durations, calendars, and loading.
• Verify progress against field records and challenge data before payments or milestones.
• Run critical path, longest path, and what-if analyses to test plans and recoveries.
• Evaluate time extensions and issue determinations on entitlement and float.
• Perform forensic schedule analysis using as-planned vs as-built methods.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and monitor mitigation actions to closure.
• Integrate third-party interfaces and long-lead procurement to keep critical path visible.
• Generate narratives, look-aheads, S-curves, and KPI dashboards for leadership.
