Job summary

Luster National, Inc. seeks a Senior Scheduler to support large, complex heavy civil infrastructure programs including highways, roads, bridges, transit, aviation, and water/wastewater projects.

You’ll review schedules, test plans and the recovery story, and quantify delay value in time and money. Responsibilities include building the integrated program master schedule, validating baselines, performing what-if analyses, and delivering KPI dashboards to leadership while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of scheduling experience on large heavy-civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with full CPM baseline schedule development, resource or cost loading, progress updating, and variance analysis.
• Experience evaluating time extension requests or Time Impact Analyses and documenting a position.
• Ability to interpret project scope, drawings, and constraints into logic-driven schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, TILOS, MS Project, Primavera Risk, Acumen Fuse, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the integrated program master schedule across design, procurement, third-party, and construction contracts.
• Review baseline submittals and monthly updates for logic, durations, calendars, float, and loading.
• Verify progress against field records and challenge unsupported gains before payments or milestones.
• Run critical path, longest path, and what-if analyses to test sequencing and recovery.
• Evaluate time extensions and Time Impact Analyses and issue determinations on entitlement.
• Perform forensic schedule analysis using as-planned vs as-built methods and document findings.
• Conduct schedule-risk assessments and quantify exposure with Monte Carlo simulations.
• Integrate third-party interfaces and long-lead procurement to keep critical path visible.
• Generate narrative reports, look-aheads, S-curves, and KPI dashboards for leadership.
• Enforce schedule governance and mentor junior schedulers to raise planning maturity.
