Job summary

Luster National seeks a Senior Scheduler to support major heavy civil programs spanning highways, bridges, transit, aviation, and water/wastewater projects. You will review schedules, test plans, and the recovery story, and quantify delay value in time and money. Forensic depth distinguishes this role.

You will build the master schedule, analyze progress, and perform critical-path/what-if analyses while mentoring junior schedulers to raise planning maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of scheduling, large and complex heavy civil infra projects.
• Experience with CPM baseline schedule, resource/cost loading, progress updates, and variance analysis.
• Experience evaluating Time Extension Requests and Time Impact Analyses.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the integrated program master schedule across design, procurement, third-party, and construction contracts.
• Review baseline submittals and monthly updates for logic, durations, calendars, float, and loading, and accept/reject per schedule specs.
• Verify progress against field records and challenge unsupported gains before payments or milestones.
• Run critical path, longest path, and what-if analyses to test sequencing and recovery proposals.
• Evaluate time extension requests and Time Impact Analyses and issue entitlement determinations.
• Perform forensic schedule analysis using as-planned vs as-built methodologies and document findings.
• Conduct schedule-risk analyses with Monte Carlo simulations and track mitigation actions.
• Integrate third-party interfaces, permitting, and long-lead procurement to keep critical-path visibility.
• Generate narrative reports, look-aheads, S-curves, and KPI dashboards for leadership.
