Job summary

Luster National is seeking skilled Schedulers to support large, complex heavy civil programs in the Washington, DC area. You’ll own the master schedule, forecast impacts, and guide sequencing decisions across highways, bridges, transit, and utilities.

Role requires deep CPM scheduling, risk assessment, and experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, and related tools. You will mentor junior schedulers and ensure data integrity across program schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years scheduling experience on large heavy-civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with full CPM baseline schedule development, resource or cost loading, progress updating, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with industry standard project, construction, and risk management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Primavera Risk, etc.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an integrated CPM schedule spanning design through turnover with linked activities and cost-control alignment.
• Collect field progress data, update status weekly or monthly, and produce look-aheads, variance reports, and earned-value forecasts.
• Run critical path and what-if analyses to test sequencing options, recovery plans, and alternative delivery scenarios.
• Generate concise narrative reports, Gantt charts, S-curves, and KPI dashboards for project managers and executives.
• Support change orders and claims by preparing Time Impact Analyses and linking delays to cost.
