Job summary

Luster National is seeking a Senior Scheduler to support large, complex heavy civil infrastructure programs, including highways, bridges, transit, airports, and water projects. You will validate schedules, quantify delays, and perform forensic time‑impact analyses to defend entitlement and claims.

You will build an integrated master schedule, review baselines, conduct what‑if analyses, and mentor junior schedulers while ensuring governance and data integrity across tools like Primavera P6 and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 10+ years scheduling large, heavy‑civil projects.
• Experience with CPM baseline schedule development, resource/cost loading, progress updating, variance analysis.
• Proven ability to interpret scope and constraints into logic‑driven, sequenced schedules.
• Experience evaluating Time Extension requests and Time Impact Analyses; document entitlement.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, TILOS, MS Project and risk management tools.
• Proven ability to mentor junior schedulers and uphold schedule governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the integrated program master schedule across design, procurement, third‑party, and construction contracts.
• Review baselines and monthly updates for logic, durations, calendars, float, and loading; recommend acceptance or rejection.
• Verify progress against field records and challenge unsupported gains before payments or milestones.
• Run CPT/longest path/what‑if analyses to test sequencing, recovery, and acceleration proposals.
• Evaluate Time Extensions and Time Impact Analyses; issue determinations on entitlement and float ownership.
• Perform forensic schedule analysis using as‑planned vs as‑built methods and document findings for dispute resolution.
• Conduct schedule‑risk assessments and MC simulations; track mitigation actions to closure.
• Integrate third‑party interfaces and long‑lead procurements to keep critical path visible.
• Generate narratives, look‑ahead schedules, S‑curves, and KPI dashboards for leadership.
