Job summary

Luster National seeks experienced Schedulers to support large heavy civil infrastructure programs across highways, bridges, transit, aviation, and water projects. You will review schedules, maintain the master schedule, and quantify the cost of slipped dates before funds move.

Responsibilities include building an integrated CPM schedule, collecting field progress, performing CP analyses, and conducting schedule-risk assessments. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, construction, transportation, or related).
• 5+ years of scheduling experience on large heavy-civil projects (>$500M).
• Experience with CPM baseline scheduling, resource or cost loading, progress updating, and variance analysis.
• Experience performing monthly schedule updates, critical path, and variance analyses with narrative explanations.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and related software.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an integrated CPM schedule covering design through turnover.
• Collect field progress data and produce look-aheads, variance reports, and EV forecasts.
• Run CP analyses to test sequencing options and recovery plans.
• Integrate external dependencies (permits, relocations, long-lead items) into the plan.
• Generate narratives, Gantt charts, S-curves, and KPI dashboards for stakeholders.
• Conduct schedule-risk assessments (Monte Carlo) and tracking mitigations.
• Support change orders and Time Impact Analyses tying delays to cost.
• Enforce schedule governance and mentor junior schedulers.
