Job summary

SSOE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Industrial Facilities Design team. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale industrial and manufacturing facilities, directing architecture and engineering teams to meet demanding performance, schedule, and budget goals.

You will coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal leaders to balance scope, risk, and cost while driving innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in the design industry with 5+ years as a Project Manager
• Experience leading major capital industrial projects
• Strong contract management and construction administration knowledge
• Experience with multi-discipline teams and remote offices
• Ability to travel to project locations as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for multidisciplinary project teams from planning through completion.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and strategic stakeholders.
• Develop project execution plans, resource strategies, and delivery approaches.
• Align scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management objectives.
• Facilitate change management and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor financial performance, invoicing, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Manage contracts for consultants and external service providers.
• Drive communication, accountability, and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Mentor project managers and support project delivery excellence.
• Support business development, pursuits, qualifications, and fee proposals.
• Travel as necessary for client and project engagement.
