Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Industrial Facilities Design team. You’ll lead multi-discipline projects through all phases, coordinating engineering and architecture staff to deliver high-performance manufacturing facilities from scope development to commissioning.

You’ll manage client relationships, define project scope, allocate resources, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding quality standards and safety requirements across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture, or 8+ years in the engineering/construction field in lieu of a technical degree.
• PMP Registration preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in the design industry, with 5+ years as a Project Manager.
• Experience managing major capital industrial projects in an engineering/architecture firm is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline projects across all phases, ensuring effective team development, coordination, and performance.
• Manage client relationships to exceed expectations and serve as the primary point of contact for project delivery.
• Define project scope, develop work plans, allocate resources, and align team capabilities with project needs.
• Execute projects within approved budget, scope, and schedule, in accordance with the Project Execution Plan and procedures.
• Oversee technical, cost, and schedule performance ensuring quality and compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and keep leadership informed of issues.
• Coordinate meetings and documentation; ensure communication across stakeholders.
• Approve and issue project documents, monitor progress, and generate client reports.
• Manage invoicing, review financial reports, expedite receivables, and support cash flow.
• Manage contracts for external consultants and services.
• Mentor project managers and support audits.
• Assist in marketing presentations, develop qualifications and fee proposals.
