Job summary

SSOE seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the Industrial Facilities Design team. You will direct planning, execution, and startup for large-scale industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities, coordinating architecture and engineering disciplines to meet high-tech requirements.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client expectations on high-visibility projects across locations, traveling as needed to engage clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years in design/engineering/construction with 5+ years as Project Manager.
• Experience managing major capital industrial projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for multidisciplinary project teams from planning through completion.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders.
• Develop project execution plans, resource strategies, and delivery approaches.
• Align scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management objectives.
• Facilitate change management and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor financial performance, invoicing, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Manage contracts for consultants and external providers.
• Drive communication, accountability, and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Mentor project managers and support project delivery excellence.
• Support business development, pursuits, qualifications, and fee proposals.
