Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee projects from planning through completion, ensuring client satisfaction with unmatched service. You will manage two to four concurrent small/medium projects or one to two large projects, guiding staff with strong PM expertise.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s in CM/CE/SE and at least 5 years in project management. You will collaborate with clients, A/E teams, and site personnel, driving on-schedule, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a project management role

Responsibilities

• May train and provide direction to Project Assistant and/or Project Manager I in maintaining project-required tracking devices.
• Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
• Participates in the supervision and training of Project Assistants and/or Project Manager I.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within guidelines of corporate policies.
• Negotiate the terms and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.
• Liaison with primary client and A/E to facilitate construction activities under the direction of Project Manager III and/or Sr. Project Manager.
• Anticipate, prevent, and resolve potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines.
• Represent the company in project meetings.
• Direct the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client.
• Negotiate all change quotations to a successful conclusion.
• Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
• Manage the financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interest, and maintain a good relationship with the client.
• May assist with the development of new business opportunities.
