Job summary

Manpower Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead filtration projects from pilot plants to multi‑million dollar systems. The role is remote but commutable to Champlin, MN, with up to 20% travel in the US and Canada.

You will drive customer kickoff, design reviews, BOM creation, 3D modelling, and financial oversight through project milestones. Ideal candidates hold a 4‑year engineering degree with 5+ years in PM, and a background in large capital equipment.

Qualifications

• 4 year engineering degree; 5+ years’ experience in Project Management
• Must be able to travel to U.S. and Canada up to 20%
• Large scale capital equipment background preferred

Responsibilities

• Kick off projects with customers via phone, meeting or in person and develop the customer relationship from a project execution perspective
• Drive clarification of customer process, floorspace, utilities, components and delivery requirements
• Engineer filtration system(s) design and review P&IDs with filtration experts
• Use AutoCAD to modify sales P&IDs per finalized customer requirements and engineering
• Create BOM based on engineered design and communicate BOM to buyer
• Drive 3D modelling of projects with filtration design team and coordinate with fabricator to ensure model clarity and construction per plan
• Provide monthly financial forecasts (labor, materials, travel, contingency, warranty) as projects progress
• Develop project schedules with milestones and ensure team alignment to budget and hours sold
• Coordinate with installation supervisor at culmination of fabrication
