Job summary

ManpowerGroup is partnering with a leader in the food & beverage processing and packaging industry to recruit a Senior Project Manager. The role is remote, commutable to Champlin, MN, with up to 20% travel to the US and Canada.

The position encompasses managing filtration projects from pilot plant to multi-machine setups, using AutoCAD, P&IDs, and 3D modelling. It includes BOM creation, cost forecasting, and milestone scheduling.

Qualifications

• 4 year engineering degree; 5+ years’ experience in Project Management
• Must be able to travel to U.S. and Canada up to 20%
• Large scale capital equipment background preferred

Responsibilities

• Kick off projects with customers via phone, video, or in-person meetings and develop the customer relationship from an execution perspective
• Clarify customer process, floorspace, utilities, components and delivery requirements
• Engineer filtration systems using process knowledge, review and approve engineered P&IDs with filtration experts
• Use AutoCAD to modify sales P&IDs per finalized customer requirements and engineering
• Create BOMs and communicate with buyers for purchasing
• Drive 3D modelling and coordinate with fabrication to ensure design clarity and construction per plan
• Manage project finances and forecast labor, material, travel costs, contingency and warranty
• Optimize designs for performance and value and manage project milestones and schedules
• Coordinate with installation supervisor at fabrication completion
