Job summary

Manpower Engineering is partnering with a leader in the food & beverage processing industry to fill a Senior Project Manager role. The position is remote with commutable distance to Champlin, MN, and requires up to 20% travel in the US and Canada.

You will manage filtration projects from pilot plants to multimillion-dollar systems, using AutoCAD for P&IDs and driving BOM creation, 3D modelling, and fabrication coordination.

Qualifications

• 4 year engineering degree and 5+ years of experience in Project Management

Responsibilities

• Kick off projects with customers via phone, meeting, or in person
• Clarify customer process, floorspace, utilities, components, and delivery requirements
• Engineer filtration systems using system knowledge and P&IDs; review and approve with filtration experts
• Modify sales P&IDs in AutoCAD per customer requirements and engineering input
• Create BOM from engineered design and coordinate with buyers
• Lead 3D modelling and coordinate with fabrication team to ensure fabricator clarity and conformance
• Manage project finances and forecast labor, materials, travel costs, contingency, and warranty
• Develop project schedules with milestones and ensure alignment with budget and hours sold
• Coordinate with installation supervisor at end of fabrication
