Job summary

ManpowerGroup (via Manpower Engineering) seeks a Senior Project Manager for a remote role with up to 20% travel in the US/Canada. Lead filtration projects from pilot plants to large multi-machine systems, interfacing with customers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will manage P&IDs, BOMs, 3D modelling, and project forecasts, leveraging AutoCAD and a strong background in capital equipment. A 4-year engineering degree and 5+ years PM experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4 year engineering degree; 5+ years’ experience in Project Management
• Must be able to travel to U.S. and Canada up to 20%
• Large scale capital equipment background preferred

Responsibilities

• This is a very customer facing position. You will kickoff the project with the customer via phone meeting or in person and develop the customer relationship from an OFCE perspective.
• Drive clarification of the customer’s process, floorspace, utility, component, and delivery requirements
• Engineer filtration system(s) design and review P&IDs with filtration experts following your process design
• Use AutoCAD to modify sales P&IDs per finalized customer requirements and engineering
• Create BOMs from engineered designs and communicate BOM to buyers
• Lead 3D modelling and coordinate with fabrication to ensure model clarity and construction per plan
• Manage project finances and forecast costs monthly as the project progresses
• Optimize engineered design for performance and value
• Develop project schedules with milestones and track hours and budget
• Coordinate with installation supervisor at project completion
