Job summary

ManpowerGroup is partnering with a leader in food & beverage processing to recruit a Senior Project Manager for remote work with a commutable distance to Champlin, MN. The role focuses on managing filtration projects from pilot plants to multi-machine installations, with substantial customer interaction.

Responsibilities include driving customer relationships, defining requirements, engineering filtration systems, BOM creation, 3D modelling, and financial oversight.

Qualifications

• 4 year engineering degree; 5+ years’ experience in Project Management.
• Must be able to travel to U.S. and Canada up to 20%.
• Large scale capital equipment background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Kick off projects with customers via calls or in-person meetings and manage customer relationships.
• Clarify customer process, floorspace, utilities, components and delivery requirements.
• Engineer filtration systems and review P&IDs with filtration experts.
• Use AutoCAD to modify sales P&IDs per requirements.
• Create BOMs and communicate to buyers for purchasing.
• Lead 3D modelling and coordinate with fabrication to ensure design is built to plan.
• Manage project finances and forecast labor, materials, travel costs, contingency and warranty.
• Develop project schedules with milestones and ensure adherence to budget and hours sold.
• Coordinate with installation supervisor at fabrication completion.
