Job summary

Veit USA is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to lead complex demolition projects from estimating through completion. You will finalize competitive estimates, secure work, and guide project teams across multiple projects, coordinating with field operations, clients, and stakeholders.

You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, contract requirements, change orders, and client relationships while mentoring junior PMs/estimators and ensuring profitability and safety across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 15+ years estimating and managing large, complex projects experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all levels of management and clients.
• Proficiency with bidding, estimating, and project-management software.
• Ability to read plans, specs, and contract documents and extract relevant data.

Responsibilities

• Finalize client and public entity estimates and proposals.
• Identify and pursue bid opportunities through client relationships and postings.
• Prepare full estimates for large, complex work, including plan/spec review and submittals.
• Provide direction to multiple projects and coordinate pre-construction meetings.
• Coordinate permits and licensing as required.
• Manage project costs, including labor and material tracking; ensure timely invoicing and collections.
• Ensure EEO/DBE compliance across projects and relationships.
• Communicate with project owners/GCs to adjust scope, schedule, and budget.
• Supervise Estimator I/II and Project Manager/Estimators.
