Job summary

VEIT is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to lead complex demolition projects from estimating to completion, driving competitive bids and project profitability. You will work closely with field ops, clients, and teams to set strategy, track schedules, and manage changes while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years in estimating and project management for large-scale work; proficiency in Viewpoint Vista/HCSS and MS Office is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 15+ years of estimating and managing large complex projects experience in related scope of work.
• Strong communication, written and oral, across all management levels and with clients/vendors.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, reports, and legal documents; present to executives.
• Knowledge of bid/procurement processes and construction software such as Viewpoint Vista and HCSS; proficient in MS Office.
• Proven ability to develop and nurture lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Finalize client/public entity estimates and proposals.
• Pursue bid opportunities through client relationships and postings.
• Prepare full estimates for large, complex work; review plans/specs and compute quantities.
• Provide management direction across multiple projects and coordinate pre-construction activities.
• Obtain permits and manage costs, scheduling, and changes to protect profitability.
• Coordinate with owners/GCs and project teams to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with EEO/DBE requirements and company policies.
• Supervise Estimator I/II and Project Manager/Estimators.
