Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to finalize bids and manage large demolition projects from start to finish, coordinating scheduling, cost control, and client communication.

You will prepare full estimates for complex work, direct multiple projects, ensure safety and profitability, and collaborate with operations, field teams, and administrative staff to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 15+ years of estimating and managing large complex projects.
• Strong communication skills with all levels of management and external partners.
• Proficiency with standard construction software and MS Office.
• Ability to read plans and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Finalize client and public entity estimates and proposals.
• Seek bid opportunities through client relationships and postings.
• Prepare full estimates for large complex work and coordinate bid submittals.
• Provide overall management direction to multiple projects and coordinate pre-construction meetings.
• Coordinate construction methods, staffing, permits, and licensing.
• Manage project costs, labor tracking, and billing with timely payables.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to EEO/DBE requirements.
• Communicate with owners/GCs to adjust scope and timelines for profitability.
• Develop relationships with current and potential future clients.
