Job summary

Veit is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to finalize bids and secure projects. The role involves directing contract work from start to finish, including scheduling, cost containment, and client contact, for large revenue projects.

You'll lead multiple projects, coordinate pre-construction meetings, manage costs, and ensure profitability while maintaining safety and compliance. Occasional travel and licensing are expected in a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 15+ years in estimating and managing large projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication across management, staff, and clients.
• Strong math skills, with ability to interpret policies and contracts.
• Proficiency in bidding processes and project management software.
• Ability to build lasting client relationships and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Finalize client and public entity estimates and proposals.
• Identify and pursue bid opportunities through client relationships and postings.
• Prepare full estimates for large, complex work and coordinate bids.
• Provide leadership to multiple projects and coordinate pre-construction activities.
• Ensure projects meet safety, budget, and schedule requirements.
