Veit & Company, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to finalize bids and secure projects, then direct management from start to finish. You will schedule, control costs, monitor progress, ensure compliance, and maintain client contact on large-scale work.

This role requires extensive estimating and project leadership experience. Responsibilities include developing full estimates, coordinating bid packages, and guiding project teams to on-time, on-budget completion while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 15+ years of estimating and managing large complex projects experience in related scope of work.
• Excellent written and oral communication across management, employees, vendors, and partners.
• Ability to read plans/specs, estimate quantities, gather submittals, and develop bids.

Responsibilities

• Finalize client/public entity estimates and proposals.
• Pursue bid opportunities through client relationships and postings.
• Prepare full estimates for large complex work and coordinate bid submittals.
• Provide overall project direction, coordinating pre-con meetings and staffing.
• Monitor costs, billing, and accounts receivable for multiple projects.
• Ensure safety, budget, and schedule compliance across projects.
