Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to finalize bids and secure projects. You will lead the overall management of contract work from start to finish, including scheduling, cost containment, progress monitoring, and client contact.

In this role, you will prepare full estimates for large complex projects, coordinate pre-construction activities, and manage multiple projects to meet safety, budget, and schedule targets. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 15+ years of estimating and managing large complex projects.
• Strong communication skills across management levels and external partners.
• Experience with bidding and project management software.
• Ability to review plans/specs, calculate quantities, and prepare full estimates.
• Ability to define problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Finalize client and public entity estimates and proposals.
• Seek bid opportunities through client relationships and postings.
• Prepare and coordinate full estimates for large complex work.
• Provide overall management direction to multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Ensure permits, licenses, safety, and budget adherence.
• Manage billing with Project Coordinators and ensure accurate invoicing.
