Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT projects with cross-functional teams. You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets and may work extended hours during storms or outages.

Responsibilities include leading project performance, controlling costs, coordinating with stakeholders, and guiding teams to meet objectives. Strong communication and PM skills are essential.

Qualifications

• For construction projects: 2–4 years of PM experience or 3–6 years with a HS diploma.
• For non-construction PM: 2–4 years PM experience or 3–6 years with HS diploma.
• Ability to build consensus, trust, and drive culture change.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams amid conflicting priorities.
• Proven leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience improving processes with technology and performance metrics.
• Strong judgment and time management.
• PM skills, writing skills, and PC skills (Work, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Passport).
• Valid driver's license and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support project and program performance across multiple domains.
• Manage costs, schedule, scope, and risks; develop recovery plans.
• Coordinate requirements with external and internal stakeholders.
• Build effective relationships with teams, managers, and contract providers.
• When leading, communicate with sponsors and stakeholders at executive level.
• Coach and lead team members to ensure task completion.
• Assist in obtaining resources for projects with PM Manager support.
