Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager for large construction projects in the Oklahoma City/Newcastle, OK area. You will lead high‑performance teams, manage owners, architects, and subcontractors, and define project scope and staffing plans.

Required ten years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role, plus a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or related field. Experience with $10M+ projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Ten years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role, with five years in a PM/leadership position overseeing large, complex projects.
• Completion of courses in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience with projects valued $10M+ across markets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of high‑performance teams through supervision, training, coaching and mentoring.
• Communicate with owners, architects and subcontractors on risk, timetables, costs/budgets and change management.
• Define scope of work and deliverables for projects.
• Determine staffing requirements and create work plans and schedules for each phase.
• Manage CM bid process including post‑bid reviews and bid packages.
• Lead trade contractor relations and coordinate information across the project team.
• Oversee planning services (estimating, scheduling, VE, reporting) and ensure timely processing of project documents.
• Maintain client relationships from contract through warranty period.
